From the founder: When my mom was a kid in Cuba, she didn't have the resources to take care of her curly hair. It would get so frizzy that she would often get it wet, just to pretend it was straight. Later in the U.S., she embraced her natural hair, but many of her curl products were filled with harmful ingredients.
